December 25th (CHRISTMAS)

Today was the best day of my life! Ok, here is what happened. (I barely heard it under all the wrapping paper. :P ) This was right after they finished reading the Nativity in the Bible. "Dad, can we open presents now?" Opal said "Alright" Then he passed out the presents. Winifred got A My Little Pony Set and so did Getrude. Danielle got AG's 3D Studio and Sparkle card kit. Gertrude (She is Ivy's Mom) got a Color Wonder Disney Princess set, Winifred got a Disney Fairies one. Opal and Danielle got Color Explosion sets. That was Christmas Eve. Here is a pic of the tree on Christmas Morning

Sorry for the confusion, The Dad said that on Christmas morning. Opal got boots, and sweaters,

and Danielle got a FlyPen and some other things we didn't get pics of so I don't know. Then, the moment of truth. There were 3 presents for Opal after everyone else opened theirs. Dad: "I'll get you Grandma's present." Mom: "Um, you might want to give her the "other one" first." Dad: "Ok." Opal, "OH MY GOSH! Is that?!?!?!?!?" She started so freaking out when

she saw a long box wrapped up. (In the pic, my box is that long red wrapped one. Not AG wrapped, behind all those tan wrapped ones) She took a breath, and then started unwrapping me very slowly. I was so annoyed I almost screamed. Then someone said, "JUST TEAR IT OPEN!" She immediatly fumbled around until she got a good grip. Then she ripped. "Is it Nellie?!??!?" Her mom and dad: "Just see." she ripped the paper till she saw the window. "OH MY GOSH!!! OMIGOSH OMIGOSH!!!! YOU GOT ME SAMANTHA!!! *Screams* Thank you sooooooooooooooooo sooooooooo sooooooooooooooooooo much!" It was hilarious to watch as she fumbled the lid off and gently tried to pull me out. "Um, dad? She's stuck." I almost LOL-ed. Mom "Sweetie, I'll get her out." I watched as her Mom took off the rubber bands that I had removed so many times. :) Meanwhile, Opal opened her other 2 presents. The other one from her Mom Dad was my accessories, and her Grandma's present was my Cranberry Party Dress. The entire family present (Ones they all had to share) was a PS2 that her Dad got off of one of his message boards he is on and 2 games. Larryboy and the Bad Apple and one for her Dad. Call of Duty I think. Opal looked at me with such happy eyes I couldn't help but smile a big wide smile. She noticed for a split second until it went back to my normal smile. Afterwards she took my to her parents bathroom, and dressed me in my new Dress. Boy was I glad to be out of those clothes! For a first time AG doll dresser, she was pretty good. She then went down and proudly showed it off to her parents. Then she went upstairs, promptly sat me down on the bed next to her, and started playing Larryboy. I have never been more happy in my life. Ah, Life's good.

Chapter 10.

December 24th (1:00 AM :P)

Well, Sweaty, hot, and stuffy I am. Since it is Christmas Eve, the parents wrapped me up with all the other presents, EXCEPT, they pushed me behind all the other presents. Here is what happened when the girls were allowed to open 1 present earlier after dinner. After the girls finished eating and the parents did the dishes... "Dad, can we pleeeeeeeeeeease open a present now? I know EXACTLY what that little one for me is!! It's a mini doll from American Girl. I measured it." Opal said. "I suppose." Everyone shrieked. Then Opal went to open the 6 1/2 inch tall box wrapped in pretty sparkly green paper with tiny Christmas trees on it. "AHHHH! YOU GOT ME MINI SAMANTHA!!!" Then she slowed down... "I guess this means I didn't get Samantha huh? Oh well, maybe I got Elizabeth or Nellie." (A.N, surprisingly she wanted Elizabeth 2 years before she got her...) Then she, Danielle, and Gertrude (:P A.N These are their cyber names, they go by them on the web. You probably think Opal's Parents are weird to name their kids these names, they didn't.) Went to bed. I watched Opal go to sleep with her old stuffed dog and Mini Moi. They were not allowed to get out of bed and sneak downstairs cause of the present wrapping. I watched them wrap me up out of the slight crack between my eyelids and my head. They stuffy paper came on. Yuck, I hope Nellie was having a better time. In 7-8 hours I will get opened. :)

Followers and a little something else...

Sammy here! Comment and Follow please. First off, I have 14 followers!!!! WAH HOO! Thank you PrincessClaire1000!! Wow, I love having followers, you guys are awesome! The only thing about blogging that is better than having followers, is having comments. So, you think you could comment on my posts? I would Really appreciate it. Because comments are really awesome to read. :) Also, many people (I will not name them, because I really LOVE all of their videos.) have been making protest videos towards AG on YouTube. About this..... In case you didn't know, (I was sooooo surprised too!) they are opening another AG store in Kansas City. That is probably one reason they are raising the prices, they have WAAAAAAAAAAAY more stores than they used too! When the dolls were 87 dollars they only had the stores in Atlanta, Dallas, LA, NYC, and Chicago. Now they have 3 (Soon to be 4) more stores. They have to pay to keep those stores open. Another reason, the price of the materials have gone up too. Also, think about it. Back when the dolls were 80 bucks or whatever, $80 was practially the equivalent of $90-$95 today. Another thing, the wigs the AGs have are made of (I forgot the name.. LOL) the finest synthetic wig material out there, unlike Barbies which have cheap hair (Rooted Saran) AGs have wigs! And it probably costs 60-70 dollars to make a doll. Which means, they have to sell 2 dolls, before they have money to make another. (Hypothetically. Because AG has a lot more money than 60 bucks.) Sorry for my long rant. :) Please don't un-follow because you don't agree with me. Everyone has their own opinion. :D

AGP was AWESOME!

Yo peeps! We just got back from AG! It was coolio! I did get glasses though. I only NEED to wear them for reading. Mom started to notice I was squinting when reading. Argh. They are pretty darn cute though. I got the two-tone glasses. I also got the two-tone (I must love two-tone) sneakers. We ate at Chick-Fil-A too. Mom shared her delicious chicken sandwich and waffle fries. :D It was AWESOME. Denver is too cool. I so wish I lived there. We passed by these cool bridges that were over the road. Alaska is really nice too. Real quick post since we have to eat our Totino's Pizza. Then we are going to Dairy Queen!
BTW, I will try to post a pic of me and my glasses soon! I didn't get to use Opal's Mom's Camera. :P

Followers, News, and simple nothingness. :)

Thank you HP Fans and SammySleuth!! You followed me, and now I have 13 followers!!! :D This means alot to me cause I thought ppl would think my blog is boring. :) Could you maybe comment too, followers? :) I love reading what you think of my posts. I might (If you like it) have to extend posting the rest of my past. My mom is going swimming with her friends today and she doesn't want me blogging when she can't supervise. :P She also wants to go to the library this week (She is a TOTAL book freak. So am I :) ) and she is going to AG place on Thursday. Hopefully I am going, so I might be able to film with Opal's (My mom) Mom's (My Grandma as I like to call her) camera. :) I might be able to post on Wednesday or Tuesday, whichever day she doesn't (Maybe she won't go at all :( ) go to the library. Chapter 9, (Sorry, it's late AGAIN)

I tried to post it yesterday but the internet was going wack-a-doodle. :)


December 14th

Yesterday the family went to church. So I stayed in my box the whole time. :) Today the girls decorated the Christmas tree. I watched from behind a wall. They put on a ton of ornaments, and I thought it would be crowded on the tree. Turns out, it wasn't. It was GORGEOUS. The turned on the multi-colored lights afterwards, and it was soooo pretty. I sighed. Then they ran to the window and saw the snow. After they had gone outside to play, I snuck into the kitchen to see what there was to eat. YUM! Christmas cookies... There were green ones, and ones with cream cheese frosting. I tried to get one, but then I heard their mom coming towards the kitchen so I quickly climbed onto the tops of the cabinets. Yuck, it sure was dusty. After she left I was about to get down when the girls clammored in from outside. They wanted hot chocolate, and of course, it was in the kitchen. Suffice it to say, I was stuck up there for 45 minutes. When they were FINALLY done, they went to the computer. I scrambled down and ran away. I was going to go downstairs, but someone closed the door! I didn't know where else to go, so I went upstairs to the 2 eldest girls' room. There was a pair of bunk beds, a (super small) tv, and a messy closet. Well, Then I explored. The lower bunk bed, (Which I later found out belonged to my future mom) was full of.. stuff? trash? junk? Let's just say, stuff, for now. The upper one was super clean, and it had a gazillion pictures. I hoped my mom was the super clean one. (AS IF xD) Then I went downstairs. (Somebody opened the door)

December 12th.

I was taken away, YAY! I am not in that stuffy room anymore. I was brought to a new place.
Some house, with 6 people in it. Except for one teensy detail. I AM STILL IN A BOX. Nobody bothered to open me. Actually, I got home yesterday, but it was at night. Then I was taken down to a dark, cold, place. Called a basement. WHAT? I snuck out this morning, I came up to nobody being awake except a girl. She was on a computer. I went over to watch, she obviously didn't hear me. She was on americangirl.com. I couldn't believe my eyes. She was looking for me. Then she saw something and said to herself, "I hope Mom got you already Samantha. I can't believe you are backordered till May. If not, I guess I could get Nellie." Then she started cruising on the web again. Maybe there is hope for me yet. :)

:) My mom was playing on some weird site for kids called Poptropica (http://www.poptropica.com/) so I didn't get a chance to blog. :P Oh well, a delayed congrats to my 2 new followers! American Girl Fan (I Followed u) and Hannie!!! :) Believe it or not, I have your blog on my favorites bar. (Along with my Mom's weirdo links, such as http://www.wunderground.com/ to check the weather and http://www.netflix.com/ for watching Sherlock Holmes. I love that though. I put picasa and blog links on that bar thingy too.) I wish I could follow it, but it is wordpress, not blogger. Holy Cow.... I am starting to ramble.... Anyhow, I am going to the library later! I hope. My mom went to the store I while ago, and she bought SODA! Yummy! I also had Spam for lunch. DOUBLE YUMMY!!! And I am also going (I think) to have Beef Noodle Hamburger Helper for dinner. YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMY!! Ok, any requests 2 new followers? :) Tell me, and I will say yes. :) (As long as it is reasonable.) Guess what? A juicy bit of news I acquired through a trusted supplier. My Past ch. 5

Eeps! I am sooooooo sorry, I was really busy yesterday helping my mom fix her bike, and get ready for my film debut. (Which, DID NOT HAPPEN. :P) So, I will post chapters 5 and 6 today. Gosh, what the heck, I will post 7 today. :)



Ch 5. October 28th. We are in Wisconsin. (FINALLY!) It is stuffy, yucky, and Nellie is in a DIFFERENT ROOM! Waaaaaaaahhhh. I tried to make friends, but no one was awake. I wish I didn't have a defect. Guess what happened? I was out exploring, and I heard humans coming. So I dropped (Like any normal doll) down dead. They saw me. The lady was getting other Samantha dolls into boxes to ship to their new moms, and she saw me. "Oh, how on earth did you get out? Guess I will put you back in." She strapped me in, with those ANNOYING rubber bands, and she put me away. ON THE TOP SHELF! Oh great, now what? I will never get picked up now! Oh my goodness--- I am so (Yawn) sleepy....

Ch. 6, November 26th. Guess what??? I WAS ORDERED! (SCREAM)! I am leaving now for ________________. (Can't tell you where. ) Gulp. I wish it was in Paris! I would love that. Here is what happened. I woke up as the lady came in again. (Same one, what a coincidence! She saw me. And said, "I remember you! Whoever played with you should be fired... Here, you can go next." I was screaming inside. This box is stuffy, but I don't care!!! I hope whoever it is loves me. :) I want a mom. :) I do miss Nellie, but I heard someone say ALL the Nellies that arrived in October are GONE! :) Good, that means Nellie left. I will see you later.


Ch. 7. December 2nd. Only 23 days until Christmas. Oh well, I arrived. Guess what? I was opened, then set under a desk! By a man. :( I thought, "Oh well, a dad is better than nothing." But he set me under a desk. :( I got out, and I explored. Everyone was gone. So I left the room. I was in a work building. (WHY?) I found a vending machine. I couldn't get anything. I left, I went back to my box, and closed the lid. I am going to sleep now. So more later.

October 26th.

We have been in Paris for like, a day or something! We were supposed to land, board another flight, land in New York, and board ANOTHER flight. But sadly, ENGINE TROUBLES. Figures. Now we are stuck here. Maybe for a WEEK! They captain said we needed a brand new engine! Lucky for me, they unloaded all of us. We are in this, storage garage or something. Wait, I here people coming, I better hide.
Later that day...
Hallelujah! We are on our way to NY! It will only take us 3 hours or so to get there. (We have already been on the plane for a while). Nellie started crying when we being carried back to the plane. Here is what happened. "Nellie, what's the matter?" I asked. "I-I'm afraid Samantha." "Why?" "Because, I have heard of dolls who have been sent to homes filled with horrors. They arrive on Christmas Eve. They are wrapped up as tight as can be, and then they are placed under a tree." "Well, what's wrong with that?" "I am not finished, they are opened on Christmas by little girls. Who take them out and hug them tight, The doll thinks, I have such a good home. But then... They have dogs who chew their hair out, little boys who put them in the microwave, and their owners put makeup on them. What if we are seperated?" "That's not going to happen Nellie! I am sure we will both be ordered by the same family!" "Really? I am glad I have such a good friend as you Samantha!" "Me too Nellie." She couldn't see my face,(We were both in boxes still) but I am glad she could not. I was scared too. What if we were seperated? Those stories, what if they happened? I am scared and I pray that God won't let anything happen to us.

"Hi Elizabeth! What are you doing?" "Eating, pancakes. You want some?" "No, can you come out so we can talk?" "Sure, let me just get out...."

"There, Now what do you need Samantha?" "I am SOOOOOO BORED!" "Like that's any of MY concern. Now if ya don't mind, I will go back to my panc-" "Wait, let's go outside! C'mon Elizabeth!"

"Well, what are we gonna DO outside Samantha?" "Play Hide and seek! You seek." "But that's soooooo baby-"

Samantha ran to hide. "Ish." Elizabeth sighed. "Fine." "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.............

"Hee hee, she will NEVER find me!" Samantha whispered.

" ONE STINKIN HUNDRED! Finally. Here I come... and Samantha is OLDER than me..."

"Hmm, she isn't behind the red bucket." Elizabeth ponders aloud.

"Or in the icky dirty hole..."

"WHERE IS SHE?!?!?!?!??!" Elizabeth screams.

"Hey, there's my shadow, but what is that lumpy thing in the tree?" She thinks it is Samantha and is trying to annoy her.

"I AM NOT LUMPY- ooooooooops...." "Ha ha, I FOUND YOU SAMANTHA!"

"Fine, you found me. I am going inside to play on the PS2. Want to come?" Samantha asks. "Sure, it is sweltering out here." Elizabeth replies. Both of the girls rush inside to get to the PS2 first. :)

October 25th

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! Today Nellie and I were playing around as usual, when we noticed something strange. Samantha & Nellie dolls were not being made anymore!! We thought it was a glitch, but th-then we heard the workers. "Oh man, Sam was my favorite." Worker 1 said. "Yeah, Nellie was my favorite. Too Bad AG is retiring them. We better ship these to Wisconsin so they will get bought." "Yeah lets get them ready." Nellie and I both decided we were going to Wisconsin. So just as they were about to put the other 2 Sam and Nellies in, Nellie dropped her broom at the other end of the room. They went to investigate and we put our boxes in the big box, got in them, and closed our lids. "How did a doll broom get here?" "Who knows? Let's ship these to Wisconsin." The then taped the box shut and went to tell their boss they shipped us like she wanted. So here I am, in an airplane to Wisconsin. I got out and so did Nellie. The workers did an AWFUL job taping the box. But there is a little window, and China looks so beautiful from the sky. I wonder what Wisconsin will be like?

Wow, that was a long one!! :D I might post Ch. 4 today.... he he, it is so fun writing these! :)

My Past ch. 2

Yup, here is part 2! Sorry I didn't update it sooner but I was at church this morning. :)


October 1st.

I had a GREAT time! I finally broke out of that icky stuffy box, and guess what? I met an awesome girl, her name is Nellie. I was sneaking around trying to keep hidden from those workers (Who BTW don't know we are alive, Honestly, I have NO idea how I am actually alive and you will see why) and I ran into a girl who was sweeping. "OH! I'm sorry Miss! I should've been more careful." Nellie said. "Um, my name is Samantha. Why are you sweeping? Shouldn't the workers do that?" "Well, yes, but I wanted to help because they have so much work to do already. My name is Nellie, how did you wake up? We aren't supposed to wake up until we have a Mamma to love us." "I could ask you the same thing! I don't know. I think I could have a defect. What about you, how did you wake up?" I asked. "Well, I don't know." She replied. "Hey, um, do you maybe want to be friends?" I said. "Yes! I have never had a friend, and I have been awake since August." She said. That's how we got to be BFFs. Then we heard workers coming. So we ran back to our boxes. Oh the fun we will have!


I don't remember anything exciting happening until about the 25th. We became best friends though. I will post another ch. tomorrow. :)

My Past

So, I thought it would be interesting if you knew about my past. So, I am going to tell it to you. Here is as far back as I can remember.... :) (I am making it sound like a diary.)

September 31st 2008.

I just woke up, it is sooooooooo stuffy in here!! I am stuck in this weird box, and it smells like plastic everywhere. YUCK! Well, this is weird, I am wearing a plaid dress with a red bow, black shoes, and black tights. WHO THE HECK DIED??? Black, blah. Black is so.. depressing. I think I am going to try and get these ties undone. What, did somebody wanna kidnap me or something??

Hello! This is my blog, That's So Samantha. My name is, (DUH :) Samantha. I haven't done much yet. But I hope to post more later. I am going to the mall with my BFF Julie and my Mom, Opal. Please note: Mom doesn't want to give out her real name or age. Opal is a cyber name. :) As I was saying. I am going to a mall!! It is gonna be sooo fun!!!! :) :) but here is a piece of "news" I picked up from overhearing my mom talking, IT IS DREADFUL! (Faints) My mom wants-- MORE DOLLS!!!! AHHHH! That means, more sisters!! AHHHH! She wants Kit AND Ruthie! She never got Nellie, why will Kit get her best friend when mom gets them BOTH?? :'( I am trying to get my mind of that though, because I am gonna have fun today. BTW, I am also going to an AG store soon!!! :) Camera Lady is getting another doll, Alaska, she sounds snobby, cause she is supposed to be 14! Older than Moi! I am 12 going on 13! Oh well, she is not MY relative.but poor Julie is going to get DIVIDED ATTENTION! How awful! Wow, this is a long post. Sorry for my changing the subject a gazillion times. :) TTYL, peeps! :)
